| Quality compromised on Mendhar-Surankote road works | | | M S Nazki

Mendhar, May 31: A road work which is started from Mendhar to Surankote is not satisfactory, alleged the president Tata Sumo Union's Mendhar Kafeel Khan.
The other drivers are also said, a deputation met to Naib Tehasildar Mendhar Tarif Hussain Shah and informed him about the substandard material which is used by the Concerned authority the PMGSY Sub Division Mendhar.
They said that with the said authority of PMGSY, a promise was being done that after the preparation of road within the duration of months the Sumo Vehicle will be eligible to move on it but the said authority did not fullill its spoken words.
They allegedly said to the Naib Tehasildar Mendhar that there is no any authorized plant of Black Topping in the Tehasil Mendhar and the material is mixing proxy there. They said that the material is mixing at Ari with all proxy tools and some locals officers rank of AE in PMGSY Sub Division Mendhar are indulged in the illegal practices.
They said that when the DDC Poonch visited the spot he stopped the work finding due to substandard material. They said that all officers of the said department are indulged in this matter. They demanded an impartial inquiry by the concerned high authority in this regard. They warned to responsible authority to take an immediate action in this connection. |
