srinagar, May 31: A Junior Engineer of Power Development Department (PDD) Thursday alleged that political activist hailing from Tral area of South Kashmir threatened him for refusing to give him undue favour.
JE-Harvinder Pal Singh, currently posted in Tral has filled a written complaint against Harbaksh Singh, who is PRO of PWD Minister Nayeem Akther, at Police Station Tral.
JE in his complaint application said that he is being forced by the PRO to illegally install the electrical line in his personal premises which is objected by the locals and the work is already going on other side for installing the same.
In the application, a copy of which lies with Early Times, JE harvinder singh has alleged that PRO Harbaksh has threatened him of dire consequences if he didn't oblige him.
The JE was earlier in the news for donating his monthly salary to the family of Asifa Banu 8 year old girl who was raped and murdered in kathua.
JE also alleged the PRO harbaksh of misusing the political power.
Meanwhile, PRO Harbaksh denied the allegations and said that JE is trying to blackmail him.
"He is trying to blackmail me. I have also filled a complaint against him at police station Maisuma and case has been registered against him," he claimed |
