ReT Forum continues state wide protest demands delinking of SSA salary

Jammu, June 5: ReT Forum held day long protests at District Headquarters for delinking of SSA Salary in Jammu Division and at Pratap Park Srinagar. The Forum carried out such programmes at all the district headquarters of Jammu province as well.
The main state level protest was held at Partap Park Srinagar under the chairmanship of State President Vinod Sharma and State Chairman Gazi Abdul Aziz. Addressing the gathering both the leaders showed their resentment against the casual approach of education department for its failure to resolve the issue of delinking of SSA and implementation of 7th pay commission for SSA teachers.
They said that due to delaying tactics of the government ReTs are suffering badly and are forced to come on roads. They demanded immediate implementation of 7th pay commission for SSA teachers.
Meanwhile, protests were held at all the district headquarters in the Jammu division where hundreds of ReTs participated and raised slogans in favour of their demands of delinking of SSA salary and implementation of 7th pay commission and submitted memorandum to the CEOs.
At Udhampur protest of hundreds of ReTs was led by District President Lekh Raj Parihar, State Press Secretary Sham Sharma and State Secretary Sukesh Khajuria. Parihar demanded the immediate implementation of 7th pay commission in favour of SSA Teachers and warned that ReT Forum will not accept the salary of April if same is released without 7th pay commission.
The protest at Jammu was led by Provincial President Rajesh Jamwal, Provincial Vice president Surjit Singh and District President Subash Chander. At Poonch District President Shahnwaz Hussain led the protest demonstration of a huge gathering.
The protest at Ramban was led by state vice president Gulzabir Daing, senior members Hari Lal Naag and Surjit Singh. Holding placards in their hands and raising slogans in support of their demands the protesting ReTs threatened to intensify their stir if SSA Salary is not delinked at the earliest.
The protest at Doda was led by District President Sajad Malik and Joint Secretary Hamiet Wan. Malik demanded the delinking of SSA Salary and release of salary for the month of February 2018. At Rajouri State Chief Spokesman Naresh Sharma and District President Manzoor Khan led the protest demonstration.
At Kishtwar district President Tahir Masood, at Samba state Convenor Raj Kumar Dubey and District President Dinesh Singh led the protests. Balwan Singh District President Reasi led the protest of ReTs at Reasi, whereas at Kathua chief advisor Arvind Sharma, State organiser Mahesh Kumar, Provincial chief spokesperson Pankaj Verma and District President Rakesh Singh led the protest.
