Udhampur, June 5: ReT Teachers of Zone Dudu are on protest demanding release of their salaries and these protests have badly affected the education of children.
Bishan Lal a local informed that every now and then there is a protest by the teachers and all this has badly affected the education of their children. He also said that every day children come to school but they find no teachers in the school.
Some students of a primary school told Early Times that they want to study but teachers don't come to school. "A boy was badly injured by his colleagues today when the latter thrashed him badly over some issue. Had there been some teacher in the school the incident could have been avoided," said Sudhir, a local.
Another local said that there should be some permanent solution to this issue as protests every now and then should be stopped as they affect the education of children whom we proudly say are future of the nation.
"Why the government not releases the salaries of the teachers well in time to avoid all this," a Panthers Party leader said adding that BJP led government is failing in all fronts including that of education in Jammu and Kashmir.
The teachers too have a family to support, they too have expenses to meet and other many tasks and for all that money is required. If salaries are not paid well in time then entire life of a teacher gets affected," he maintained.
The protesting teachers informed that their repeated attempts to meet the concerned CEO does not materialize as the CEO denied time to meet the protesting teachers.
Even from the last two days the villager who's children's carrier spoil due to the negligence of education department call to the CEO but he was not pickup the phone.
When contacted CEO Jattu Ram in this matter but he was not picked the phone call.
