| Ladli Beti Diwas held across Samba | | | Early Times Report
samba, June 7: Ladli Beti Diwas under Beti Bachao Beti Padhao was today celebrated across the ICDS projects of Samba District. The main celebration function was held at Panchayat Ghar Khara Madana in Purmandal block which was attended by a large number of locals and beneficiaries. Speaking on the occasion, the DPO (ICDS) Samba said that the entire staff associated with the project put in their best efforts to achieve desired results under Ladli Beti Scheme. She assured all pending cases would be cleared as early as possible and all eligible beneficiaries must receive benefits under Ladli Beti Scheme. She also made public aware about various benefits of Ladli Beti Scheme. The beneficiaries were sensitized about schemes implemented by ICDS and Health department for welfare of children and women. On the occasion baby care kits were also distributed among girl children. Also present were BMO, CDPO, CHO, Supervisors and workers. |
