Police - public meet held at Gool

Jammu, June 7 : On the directions of SSP Ramban, Mohan Lal, Addl SP Ramban, Sanjay Parihar held a Police Public meeting at Gool, Ramban. The meeting was attended by large number of inhabitants of the area belonging to different professions, localities and age groups. In the beginning the participants were welcomed by DySP Gool, Amin Bhat and were invited to put forward their genuine issues, pertaining to police administration as well as other departments so that appropriate efforts are made for their amicable solutions. Most of the participants praised the proactive approach of Gool police against the menace of drugs and other psychotropic substances and also for people friendly policing. They also raised some other important issues for communal and social harmony and eradication of social evils. A patient hearing was given to the issues raised in the meeting and all the participants were assured that their concerns will be communicated to concerned quarters for necessary action. They were advised to be eyes and ears of Police and provide timely actionable information against anti social/anti national elements. DySP Gool was advised/directed to provided free coaching to the SI aspirants of the area. An appeal was made to follow traffic rules and be law abiding citizens. The meeting ended with a vote of thanks by SHO Gool, Insp Javaid Ahmed.
