| Door to Door campaign, demonstration under Swachh Bharat Summer Internship | | |  Early Times Report
Bishnah, June 29: On the 4th day of Swachh Bharat Summer Internship-2018, the NSS unit of Govt Degree college Bishnah organized door to door meetings with the residents of Panchayat Ratnal and made them aware of the segregation of Waste at source and the demonstration of formation of the compost Pit at home or Community level for converting the wet waste into manure. The Nodal Principal for the programme, Prof Amit Kumar Sharma divided the Interns into 7 teams for the door to door meetings. The interns went to every home to make the people aware of the use of two dustbins for wet and dry waste respectively with the live demonstration of the digging of compost pit for the conversion of wet waste into manure in the same. The residents of the Ratnal panchayat listened to the interns very carefully and promised to apply the information for keeping the home and villages clean. |
