Jammu, June 29: Sunil Dimple president Jammu west assembly movement led a strong protest rally at Janipur High court Road, Tali Morh to New Plot Ambphala, Sarwal, Luxmi Nagar against ERA, JMC Jammu Municipal Corporation, traffic problem and against the ERA Sewerage works. People demanded to make Jammu a smart city as they are facing the lot of traffic problems, no flyovers, no ring circular roads, no parking spots, no JMC lights on the main roads. Addressing the protestors, Sunil Dimple registered a strong protest with the Governor NN VOHRA and demanded a CBI inquirey into the funds allotted to the ERA sewerage works, JMC and PWD R&B as the worst condition of the drains, lanes, , roads and the sanitation condition has hit the west assembly constituency and the Jammu city. Dimple said all the main roads of the constituency are over flowing with the ERA sewerage garbage water, drains are in the dilapidated condition and no development is taking place in the constituency for the last three years. Dimple said Governor NN Vohra that MLAs of the Jammu city and particularly of the west assembly constituency did no development in the last three years and Jammu city was left far behind.
He demanded construction of flyovers at Rehari Cungi, Jewal Chowk for better traffic management.
He also demanded alternative four way circular road from Amphalla Manda to High Court Janipur to Roop Nagar, to Bantalab .
Dimple urged JMC to immediately installLED Lights on the main roads of the Jammu city and the in the west assembly constituency. And all the street light in the lanes are also not working and the night terror of dogs is at the peak. |
