| Kashmir Sikh Sangat seeks action against attackers of girl | | |

Jammu, July 10: A meeting of Kashmir Sikh Sangat was held at head office Nanak Nagar Jammu where in the recent episode of harassment and murderous attack on the life of a sikh girl was strongly condemned.
It was viewed with great concern that places where the students are imparted the training and teachings of humanity and brotherhood are becoming the place of goonism, hearted and crime here in fellow students pressures the minority students for conversion of religion and unauthentic deeds, the members said.
We fail to understand that how under the nose of university authorities all this is happening and they are mute spectators and such anti-social elements are given the patronage. Authorities should come up with strong actions against the arraying students and they should clear their stand otherwise their institutions with loose the repute and faith, they said. They appealed Governor NN Vohra to take strong action against the perpetrators of crime, otherwise it would encourage the perpetrators and they might repeat such acts in future as well. |
