MGNREGA Employees to extend strike for another 72 hours: Sandeep Kalotra

JAMMU, July 10: All MGNREGA Employees Association of Jammu province today extended their ongoing strike for another 72 hours at District level against the false promises made by the Government for framing a job policy for the employees of these organizations.
While briefing media president Sandeep kalotra stated that the oral as well as written assurances from the administrative authorities from time to time have proved an empty promises. In this connection He disclosed with dismal and said that thousands of highly qualified youth are working and it is worthwhile to mention here that MGNREGA Employees have been working sincerely since 2007 in RDD .
The RDD has already failed to frame any job policy for them which is working hard for last 11 years they have not been regularized till date . Kalotra announced the extension of their pen-down strike by further 72 hours throughout J&K State , the prominent among other of

We already approached the office of Worthy Commissioner Secretary and discussed our administrative issues about our demands. The Core committee 'MGNREGA Employees association of Jammu Province' have decided to extended their strike for another 72 hours throughout J&K state at district level . President of association have urged upon the Government to consider the genuine demands of MGNREGA employees on main concern basis instead of giving them inhumane treatment otherwise the agitation will turn ugly in the coming days for which the State Government shall be responsible.
Kalotra exclaimed that they will again take to streets and resume the path of agitation "we have put our demands so many times to the RDD higher authorities which have not been fulfilled till date. Once more.
We humbly requested to Governor N N Vohra to look into and fulfill our long pending demands especially job policy ,on priority basis for MGNREGA employees as soon as possible .
