| Jammu Artist participates in art Exhibition in Vietnam | | |  Early times Report
Jammu, July 10: Jammu artist Jang S. Verman's paintings were displayed in an Art Exhibition- 'Connect- Vietnam- India' organized by Las Creative Art Gallery and ArtFort India at Ho Chi Minh Fine Art Museum in Ho Chi Minh City of Vietnam from 5th to 9th July, 2018. Paintings of other Indian artists Prabhinder Lall (Chandigarh), Sankari Mitra (W. Bengal) and Roma Bahl (Uttar Pradesh) and Vietnamese artists Vo Thi Thu Sung, Le Hei Trieu, Le Huy Cuu and Nguyen Mau Tan Thu were also displayed in the show. The exhibition was opened with big bang among artists and art lovers present on the occasion of opening of the exhibition. The Indian artists were also felicitated on this occasion. Speaking on this occasion Vo Thi Thu Suong, the coordinator from Vietnam thanked the Indian counterparts to share their art with the artists of Vietnam. She said that this was the first ever such effort made there. She hoped much more adventures like that in the future also. While speaking on this occasion the Indian artist and co- organizer said that the first effort to share such international programmes is a welcome step by the artists of both the countries. He added that the artists of Vietnam would also be given chance to share their art in India in near future. |
