| GDC Dharmari organises an essay competition | | |  Early Times Report
Darmari, July 10: Government Degree College (GDC) Dharmari organised an essay writing competition today on the theme 'Population Explosion' on the eve of 'word population day'.
Dr. T.R. Sharma, the principal of the college was the chief guest on this occasion. While interacting with the participants Dr. Sharma asked the students to put their innovative ideas on the paper by which they can motivate the masses to join hands and attract their active and energetic involvement to bring the rate down to sustainable limit .
All participants tried their level best to win the competition .They tried to give wording to their idea reflecting the dangers of exponential growth and limited resources on the earth.
16 students participated in the contest .From amongst these students three were adjudged as the best . They were Surinder Kumar in English , Palvi Jaral in Hindi and Mohd Akram in Urdu. Prof Sat Pal ,Dr Akther , Dr Sunil and Mrs Mridhu Mahajan adjudged the competition .
The competition was organised and conducted by s Prof. Baldev Singh in coordination with Prof Sham Lal and Prof Ajay Kumar . |
