| Settle pending issues of Anganwari Workers, Helpers: AWWA | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, July 10: Akhil Bhartiya Anganwari Karamchari Mahasangh (ABAKM) today held protests, demonstrations, dharnas besides interactions with media throughout India in the capital cities of all the states.
On the occasion, charter of demands was also submitted to the Prime Minister of India.
As a part of the nationwide programme, the Anganwari Workers Welfare Association (AWWA) held a press conference here today on the call of ABAKM
During the press conference, it was informed that this programme is organized in states as 'Demands Day' and in this regard the charter of demands from AWWA Jammu Kashmir is being submitted to the Prime minister and Governor of the state with the request to address the pending demands of workers and Helpers. The demands include immediate release of pending salary, declaring Anganwari Workers and Helpers as government employees, minimum wages be given to Anganwari workers and Helpers till their regularization besides settlement of other issues. |
