Poonch, July 10: Cadres of Haq Insaaf Council carried out victory rally in Poonch on release of 1.37 crore for completion of Jammu University Poonch Campus by Governor NN Vohra during his recent visit to Poonch.
Zeshan Syed State President Haq Insaaf Council thanked Governor of Jammu & Kashmir and the then DDC Poonch Mohd Aijaz Asad for their personal intervention to redress the plight of Students Fraternity of this Border District Poonch.
He further said it was collective effort of Civil Society Poonch in common and various organisations including SRK Foundation, SSEM, YASHN, GBYA, Kalam Foundation, Hamdard Welfare Foundation and Allapeer Youth Welfare Society in particular which led to the redressal of this long pending demand of student fraternity.
Syed While interacting with media said previous regime and local legislators failed to highlight this genuine concern of the youth and its high time for youth to stay united for ensuring peace, prosperity and development of this downtrodden District.
Mohd Mashooq while speaking on the occassion highlighted the contribution of Haq Insaaf Council in consistently raising the important issues of youth with the higher authorities.
He congratulated the common masses of Poonch on this victory which was not possible without active support of civil society.
Ikhlaq Mehmood said Haq Insaaf Council is committed to raise the genuine concerns of youth across the state and youth will have to strengthen this fearless organisation in the interest of Right and Justice.
He further said Local Legislator's totally failed to ensure good governance to the common masses of Peer Panjaal.
