Rajouri, July 21: Negligence on part of concerned officials of the Animal Husbandry department has lead to encroachment on about 1400 Kanals of land (Fodder Farm) at Wand Mora near LoC in Pukhrani area in Nowshera sub division in Rajouri district.
For the last many years inhabitants of the area gradually encroached the land in question and also have constructed 2-4 Pucca and Kachha houses and rest of the land is being utilized for cultivation of crops.

"The matter was brought into the notice of District Development Commissioner (DDC) Rajouri by the people (reportedly not by the concerned officials apprehending action) on July 17 when DDC held introductory/ public meeting at Kalsian.
"Immediate directions were issued to the concerned officials to retrieve the encroached "said a senior revenue official.
