| Unavailability of parking space poses threat in Ramban | | |  Tahir Mushaq

RAMBAN, July 22: With growing traffic in Ramban town, the people are facing difficulties to reach their desire destination on time, but the administration as well as the concerned department became a mute spectator adding woes to the citizens.
Parking problem in Ramban has increased manifold, over the passage of time.
Due to the unavailability of proper parking space in the town one can easily witness daily scuffle in interior of town be in Ramban or Maitra.
People are compelled to park their vehicles on road reaching District Hospital and Court sometimes creating for patients to reach to the hospital.
Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Ramban Dr Saif Ud Din Khan said "In absence of parking area in Ramban town people park their vehicles on road resulting in traffic jams and in case of any accident ambulance carrying injured persons find it difficult to reach the hospital on time.
He further said that the health department many times asked the administration for some proper arrangement of parking but nothing has been done so far.
Advocate Suraj Singh Parihar said that the administration should make some provision for proper parking of vehicles as many times during day time people parking their vehicles in front of hospital gate as well as court which creating problems to the people.
He appealed the administration of establish a parking space so that people of Ramban especially patients may not suffer further. |
