Jammu, July 24: A plantation drive was organized at NHPC Regional Office, which was inaugurated by Chander Mohan, Executive Director.
They planted saplings of Neem in the office premises. Afterwards, S. Tirkey, Chief (HR), KL Acharyulu, Chief (Internal Audit), BM Gupta, Chief (Finance), Ramesh Kumar, Chief Engineer (Civil) and Employees planted Neem and shady plants around the office premises and along the road side.
All employees took part with full enthusiasm for the initiative undertaken by NHPC at all its locations. Speaking on the occasion, Executive Director called upon all the employees to plant more trees in their own homes and workplaces for the protection of the environment and take proper care of the plants. |
