| Minor held with intoxicants | | | Rajouri, July 24: Rajouri police claimed to have arrested a minor boy along with a consignment of intoxicants from Kotdhara area in the afternoon today. The teenager has been identified as Ajaz Ali of Kotedhara situated in the vicinity of Rajouri town. Police spokesman said that on the directions from Govind Rattan, DySP HQs, a police party led by Tahir Khan-SHO was on patrolling on Rajouri-Kotdhara road. Spokesman further said that cops noticed suspicious activity of the boy and during questioning/frisking recovered 528 intoxicant capsules from his possession. Police also claimed that the boy was to sell these capsules to other drug addicts in the area but not made it clear that the consignment belongs to the minor boy or he was used by the drug peddler to deliver the consignment to another drug peddler operating in the area.
"The boy has been booked under relevant sections and further investigation is on" said police spokesman. |
