Jammu, July 24: A meeting of General Line Teachers Forum was held under the leadership of its State President Neeraj Sharma and District President Digvijay Singh at its Central Office Jammu to discuss the various emerging issues in Education Department , the main issue discussed in the meeting was the recently issued promotion lists of lab assistant to teacher, lab bearer to lab assistant and junior assistant etc. Neeraj Sharma along with all the executive members appreciated the role of Director School Education Jammu Rakesh Kumar Sarangal and particularly CEO Jammu J.K.Sudan by fulfilling the long pending demands of promotions of class IV and Lab Assistant to the next higher grade.. Neeraj Sharma said all this have become possible only due to personal efforts and interests of CEO Jammu who can address the issues of DPC and mitigate the miseries and pains of the employees. Elaborating further, the President said that we wish and expect more of same from CEO Jammu with welfare of teaching as well as Non Teaching community and demand the immediate confirmation of all the lab assistant who are working in their own pay and grade since 2014 without any service benefits , so that these employees to be benefitted both monetarily and other service benefits like seniority. Further , Neeraj Sharma demanded that twenty lab assistants who are working since 2014 with all the service benefits should be promoted to next higher grade i.e. teacher at par with their juniors .
