Early Times Report

JAMMU, July 24: A Meeting of Dogra Sangathan (DS) was held here today at Jammu in which the issue of alleged injustice meted out to Vivek Sharma, a Junior Engineer, serving in EM&RE Division Doda, in Power Development Department was taken up.
The JE is allegedly suffering at the hands of some higher officials with vested interests, who are not interested to allow him to serve in Bhaderwah Sub-Division by adopting discriminatory attitude towards Vivek Sharma, JE.
Amit Kapoor, president of Dogra Sangathan, accompanied by Navecn Chopra, Abhishek Koushal, Rajni Thakur and Bharat Bhushan while expressing anguish over the injustice with the JE, stated that Vivek Sharma belongs to Tehsil Bhaderwah, District Doda. He was transferred from Doda to Bhaderwah where he was performing his duties to the entire satisfaction of his superiors. But some vested officials were considering him as obstacle in their way of performing malpractices at Bhaderwah Division, and to remove him, he was prematurely transferred to Kishtwar Division.
They said that Vivek Sharma, raised his voice against the injustice in the shape of premature transfer and approached the High Court of J&K, and a favourable status quo order was passed by the High Court, directing the department to allow him to continue at his present place of posting i.e. Bhaderwah.
They alleged that the concerned Executive Engineer, EM&RE Division Doda, Tasaduq Hussain Sheikh, Administrative Officer namely GK Sadhotra connived a conspiracy against Vivek Sharma, JE and got him transferred by Chief Engineer, EM &RE Jammu, Ashwani Gupta and immediately relieved him next day without providing any chance of handing over / taking over and above all without giving any relieving order to him. This clearly reflects some foul play and conspiracy as Vivek Sharma should have been given proper time to clear the materials whatsoever issued to him.
Dogra Sangathan Team urged upon the Governor to take serious notice of these irregularities in the Department otherwise the Sangathan will be forced to come on roads to raise voice against this injustice with a Dogra.
