Poonch, July 24: Municipal Committee Poonch is accused for releasing of monthly salary of a private truck driver from the government treasury for last two and a half year. According to the sources, a driver, Manzoor Hussain is working with a private truck as a driver whereas Poonch municipality is continuously releasing his salary from the department. A departmental source informed Early Times that "the said driver has not once been seen working in the department and his attendance is continuously going on there". There are some more employees working outside the department whose salaries are continuously releasing from the department, he further informed. Even though an application under RTI was given to Chief Executive Officer MC Poonch to seek information of this employees in the month of June this year, but he has failed to provide the same which shows that there is some blunder. Locals have appealed to governor N N Vohra to take strict appropriate action into the matter at earliest. |
