| KDRA to organize distt level shooting championship from July 27 | | | Early Times Report
kathua, July 24: Kathua District Rifle Association (KDRA) is organizing a district Level Air Pistol/Air Rifle Shooting Championship for the youth of District Kathua from July 27 to 29 at the Indoor Shooting Range located in Kartar Public School, Barnoti Kathua. The championship will be conducted under the patronage of J&K Rifle Association (JKRA).
Addressing a press conference here today, Sohan Lal Sharma, vice president JKRA, informed about the schedule of the proposed championship. Speaking on the occasion, Sharma congratulated the management of Kartar Education Trust and KPS Shooting Club for their initiative and noble ideals in providing an indoor shooting range with world class facilities for the youth of Kathua district. He assured all help and cooperation from the JKRA to promote the sport and to encourage the sportspersons and wished all success to the organizers. Er Nirmaljit Singh, Chairman of the Kartar Education Trust and President of KPS shooting Club informed that he is committed to provide the best infrastructure and all kinds of facilities for the youth of Kathua district at KPS Shooting Range and also assured that he is committed for providing any help to JKRA in future for such big events in Kathua district. |
