Jammu, July 25: Vishav Hindu Parishad (VHP) expressed concerned over damaged Drungli bridge, as the annual Shri Buddha Amarnath Yatre is going to commence.
Nishu Gupta V.H.P State president, Amit, Sourabh, Surya and others said that the concern department must speed up the restoration works on bridge. They also said that the Sher-e-kashmir bridge which connects the Poonch town with other parts is also lacking the lights due to which people have to suffer at night and may pose threats to the security.
They also demanded that district administration must check why temporary lights during the important days were setiap and after few days there will be no light arrangement. |
