16th Charri Mubarak yatra taken out

RAMBAN, July 25: Mata Chamunda Devi yearly Charri Mubarak yatra was taken out from a temple in Ukhral tehsil of district Ramban proceeded towards Sarvadhar area, Pogal Paristan was flagged off by Tehsildar Ukhral Nayaz Ahmed Wani in which hundreds of drown from various parts of the state were participated.
The Charri Mubarak whiil reach at Mata Chamunda Devi Temple on July 26 whereas today Charri Mubarak will stay at base camp Senabathi. Large number of people from Pagal-Paristan Ransu, Doda, Ramban and Rajgrah besides other parts of the district participated in this yatra with religious enthusiasm.
Speaking on the occasion Tehsildar Ukhral Nayaz Ahmed Wani said that every year this yatra was organized and adequate arrangements have been made by the administration besides security and langer facilities also being provided to the yatries.
Mahant of Mata Chamunda Devi Temple Jagjeet Singh said that it is the 16th holy Yatra of district Ramban and the spot must be developed in tourist and pilgrimage spot. Coordinator Er Rakesh Kumar Katoch appreciated the locals, media persons and police and civil administration for extended full cooperation for making the yatra successful.
