| GDC Dharmari organises extension lecture | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, July 25: A lecture on career counseling cum selection process in various departments and examinations was organised in the premises of GDC Dharmari by Army Unit Bhagga.
In his inaugural address Principal of the college Dr Tilak Raj Sharma highlighted the importance of career counselling in Today's competitive world. Coming from such a far flung area and the lack of awareness makes students assume that the options are limited. This makes career counselling more important for students of Rural areas.
The resource Persons on this occasion were Rajesh and Dheeraj from Apollo medical services and JKEDI respectively. They deliberated on the topic at length. According to them choosing the right career is the most important decision in everybody's life and career assessment can help individual to identify and articulate better their unique interests, skills and values. As the world is becoming more complex more career opportunities are becoming available. This was followed by a vibrant interaction with the students.
Prof Baldev Singh presented vote of thanks and Prof Khalid Sajad Bohra conducted the proceedings. All the staff members were present on the occasion. |
