| Martyrs Welfare Group to organize candle light vigil | | | Early Times Report
jammu, July 25: Like every year, a self help Jammu based group of volunteers called 'Martyrs Welfare Group' will organize a candle light vigil at 3.30 pm tomorrow here at Balidan Stambh. This is an effort to pay tributes to the martyrs of army and other forces and to remember their selfless sacrifices for the nation. Towards this, the group members primarily consisting of young volunteers under the leadership of Sukreet Gupta duly assisted by few veterans make lot of efforts every year. This time too, they have put up hoardings, banners, portraits and posters at numerous places in the city and other prominent places. They are urging people to join everyone at Balidan Stambh.
A small beginning was made few years back to bring awakening amongst the masses especially the young generation to make them aware about the value and enormous cost of protecting national integrity, the valour and sacrifices of SFs and the pride their families take. The Group looks at carrying forward this moment by leaps and bounds. |
