| JJSF staged protest demonstration, seeking admission to all students in Cluster University' colleges | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 1: Activists of JJSF today staged a protest demonstration at Cluster University campus GGM Science College Jammu against the dictatorial attitude of administration regarding the admission process in the colleges coming under the Cluster University.
Hundreds of the aspirants who are struggling to get the admission in the City Colleges for the session 2018-19 were treated mercilessly and were bluntly refused by the University administration for admission. After seeing the dictatorial attitude of the administration the aspirants under the leadership of Pushvinder Singh Manhas (State President JJSF) started raising slogans against the Cluster University administration. Meanwhile students of MAM College and SPMR College of commerce joined the protest under the leadership of Anshu Sharma (President MAM College) and Vikas Sharma (President SPMR College).
Addressing the massive gathering of the admission seekers Pushvinder Singh said that it is very unfortunate that instead of increasing the capacity of the city colleges the administration in connivance with the state government is hell bent to destroy the future of student community of Duggar region as the capacity of the city colleges was almost 15000 which is reduced to 6100 for this session. |
