| NC legislator desecrates tricolor | | |

poonch, Aug 1: National Conference MLA from Mendhar Javed Rana in a rally threatened prime minister that there would be no place for tricolor in the state of Jammu and Kashmir if Art 35A and 370 are abolished.
He said this while addressing a public rally at Chhungan village of tehsil Mendhar of district Poonch.
People taking note of the statement said such politicians provoke the common masses and to gain their votes.
On the one hand when Kashmir province has been facing bloodshed, few hate mongers want to bleed the peaceful Pir-Panchal region too.
Such MLAs, they said should be booked under PSA and not allowed to contest electiond in future.
Pertinent to mention here that Javed Rana is a habitual of giving controversial statement for getting media attention but this time he has insulted the National flag over which many political and non political organizations have riased their eyebrows and have demanded legal action against him. |
