Jammu, Aug 1: All J&K Work Supervisors Association members today put forth their demands and alleged that they were being neglected at every sphere.
Addressing a press conference, which was attended by provincial president Tariq Shah, District President Romesh Kumar, Vice President Surjeet Singh, General Secretary Pavan Kumar, Senior Supervisor Rajinder Singh, Kameshwar and other members, they said, "The Work Supervisor cadre is facing negligence at every sphere of work in the department. Injustice is being done with them by not conducting DPC for them and not even Seniority list is realised for this cadre since last 20 to 25 years.
Hence no scope of promotion is left for them. Not only this, whenever they approach Chief Engineer Office Jammu, they are not treated properly and their problems are not solved by the S O and the Chief Engineer. Not even their simple querries are solved, their problems remain unaddressed. The Chief Engineer and S O are not listening to their problems and are doing work of their interest only. But those field Staff employees who come from far flung areas suffer a lot as they come after availing leave from their duty. They keep coming again and again but their voice is not heard, they said. |
