Dogra Front demands deportation of Rohingyas

Jammu, Aug 11: The workers of Dogra Front and Shiv Sena today staged protest demonstration, demanding deportation of Rohingyas from Jammu. The party workers raised slogans against Bangladeshis & Rohingya demanding there deportation as they have become a security risk to the nation and there role on changing the demography of Jammu. He said with the illegal settlement of these foreign immigrants, not only the demography of Jammu city and its peripheral areas had been under threat but they had become hub of serious crimes. "The recovery of the huge amount following the seizure of biggest ever haul of heroin worth Rs 250 crores from Narwal area inhabited by Rohingyas on August 6 had led to the suspicious angle of 'hawala transaction' being carried out to fund terror activities in the State.
The party people who were present at the time of protest were Suresh, Ashu, Sudesh, Sushma, Anita, Rajni, Raj Kumari, Som Dutt, Bodh, Raj, Vijay, Sham, Mukesh, Sonu and various others were present.
Meanwhile Panun Kashmir also demanded deportation of Rohingyas from Jammu. The convenor of Panun Kashmir Ravinder Jalali said that their presence is dangerous and threat to the security and integrity of our country as a whole and J&K as well, being already disturbed state.
Only a few days back Rs 30 lacs was reportedly recovered from Rohingyas, although the two accused who brought money are still absconding but other acquaintance have been arrested, which is great concern, said Convenor. It has already been found that these Rohingyas are involved in illegal activities and have managed Ration Cards, Voter Cards, Aadhar Cards and some have obtained PRCs (State Subject). This could not have been possible with out the connivance of Govt. and Revenue officials. Earlier they were involved in human trafficking and other criminal activities.
They appealed Governor to initiate a probe into the matter.
The meeting was attended by Virji Bhat, K L Mattoo, Vijay Kumar, N K Raina, RK Raina.
