| DSEJ launches massive plantation drive | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 11: With the mission for cleaner and greener earth and to conduct plantation in all the educational institutions and the land belonging to Education Department in collaboration with "Technyme For All" registered NGO, Director School Education Jammu Rakesh Kumar Srangal launched a massive plantation drive by planting saplings in HSS Muthi, wherein all the students and the faculty members participated whole heartedly in the plantation drive.
While addressing, Director School Education Jammu maintained that the mission of Education Department during the current plantation drive is not only to plant the saplings on the land belonging to Education Department and the building premises but also to inculcate a spirit of nature conservation, preservation of further degradation of natural resources and the ecosystem and the vital components of the ecosystem in the tender minds of students folk by ensuring their active participation and making them brand ambassadors for more such nature conservation activities/ events in future also throughout the division. He further disclosed that the current mega plantation drive and such allied activities shall continue till the end of the season. |
