| DPS Nagbani holds cricket matches for juniors | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 26: With a focus on providing external holistic platforms to the students and seeking to promote cricket among school students under 12 years of age, Delhi Public School Nagbani, Jammu - (West) held cricket matches for classes III to V in the school premises.
The matches were played between four teams. Each team tried its level best to win the match. All the players showcased their hidden talent in batting, bowing and fielding. The bowlers too did a splendid job with the defense, despite a stiff resistance from the batsmen.
The Principal of the school RK Verma appreciated the performance of the players and congratulated the winners especially the men of the matches and the sports teachers under whose guidance the matches were organized. He said that the purpose of the matches is twofold. On one hand it helps to identify and promote young talent and on the other hand it helps us to get a change in the life style. |
