Poonch, Sept 26: Continuing its drive of Swachtaa Hi Sewa, Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Poonch of Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences & technology of Jammu and Poonch College of education today organized a Rally from B.Ed College to Krishan Singh Park Poonch in which more than 200 students and staff members participated. Dr. Ajay Gupta I/c. Sr. Scientist & Head, Dr. Muneeshwar Sharma, SMS Plant protection and staff of KVK Poonch and Ramesh Sharma, Administrator, Vice Principal and number of Assistant Professors from Poonch College of Education also joined the Procession for creating Awareness on Swachtaa which is being celebrated all across Nation as part of Swachtaa Hi Sewa w.e.f 15th September 2018. The Rally passed through B.Ed. College, Quazi Mohra, Dak Bungalow, Nakahan wali Road and Krishan Singh Park raising slogans on Swachtaa Hi Sewa and importance of cleanliness. Students raised slogans like "Hum sab ne yeh thana hai, Poonch Sunder banana hai", Bapu Ji ka ek Hi sapna, Swach Sunder Desh Ho Apna and "Clean India Green India". The students were also carrying Banners, Posters depicting importance of cleanliness for a Healthier Nation. During the Rally, the students voluntarily cleaned the roads and chowks to spread the message of Swachtaa among masses. |
