JAMMU, Sept 26: In the light of national programme "Swachhta Hi Sewa", GDC Majlata today organized an awareness rally of the students.
The rally was flagged off by Principal of the college, Prof Kusam Gupta which later on was escorted by the faculty of the college Prof. CL Shivgotra, Dr. Romesh Sharma, Dr. Mool Raj,Dr. Asha Singh , Prof. Upma, Prof Ambica, Prof Jai kundal, Prof Imran and Prof. Vaishali. The rally went around the local market of Battal and students participants interacted with the locals and shopkeepers of the local market. Later on the rally marched towards Govt. Middle School, Battal. The rally was welcomed by the head and staff of the middle school Battal. Subsequently students of the college also interacted with the students of the middle school and aware them about the importance of Swachhta in general life of the human being. Staff of the college also interacted with students and staff of the school. The rally was culminated at the college campus after visiting to the market and school. Nearly 100 students along with the staff of the college participated in the programme. |
