Jammu girl to represent nation at Miss Earth Pageant

Jammu, Sept 29: Deepshikha Sharma was crowned Miss Multinational by Glamanand Supermodel India at a glittering event held in Delhi. Jammu girl Deepshikha Sharma was earlier crowned Femina Miss India 2018 Finalist from J&K. She has done her schooling from Army Public School, Ratnuchak.
Tanishqa Bhosle won Coveted Miss India International, Devika Vaid has won the title Miss India Earth, Shweta Parmar has been crowned as Glamanand Supermodel India 2018 and Simran Sharma was the 2nd runner up for Glamananad Supermodel India 2018.
Rekha Bohra crowned Miss India Multinational, Deepshikha Sharma while Ms India International was presented the crown by Ankita Kumar (Former Miss India International), Shaan Suhas Kumar (former Miss India Earth) presented Miss India Earth. Talking to the media persons in Jammu, Miss India Multinational Deepshikha Sharma said, "Being a girl from a small town in Jammu and Kashmir, I am extremely blessed and fortunate to have been found worthy of the crown of Miss India Multinational. It all started with a dream and perseverance and honest hardwork is the key to achieve anything in life. I am grateful to have been blessed with this opportunity and I promise to make the best out of it and make my nation proud." "A message that I would like to deliver to the people of Jammu & Kashmir is to open their minds to various professions and promote their daughters and sons towards the world of pageantry. Pageants give us young women a platform to excel in various fields of our choice.
The winners will represent India at Miss Earth Pageant in the Philippines from 6th October to 3rd November, at Miss International from 20th October to 9th November in Tokyo, Japan and at Miss Multinational from 28th November to 13th December in New Delhi, India.
