UDHAMPUR, Sept 29: Govt. College for Women Udhampur with the guidance of Dr. Chander Shekhar, worthy principal GCW Udhampur took part in the mega talent showcase event Display Your Talent held at University of Jammu, GCW Udhampur participated in number of literary, theatrical and musical activities with absolute ardor.
Govt. College for Women Udhampur bagged First Prize in Group Dance Folk held on the valedictory day .One Vidhushi Bamotra of sem III got 3rd prize in RANGOLI competition. Also Vishali Devi of Sem V and Ayushi Sharam of sem III got certificate of merit.
While interacting with the participants worthy principal congratulated the students who bagged positions and also wished them luck in their future endeavors. Besides he also encouraged all those students who participated in the event and said that one should keep putting in our efforts because "it is not important to win the race but it is important to be in the race." Taking the opportunity he also congratulated all those faculty members who were involved in the conduct of the event i.e., cultural committee in general and music department in particular. |
