Poonch, Nov 27: Although government has framed legislations to curb child labour, children are allegedly forced to work as labourers.
According to reports from Poonch, authorities of High School (Boys) Purani Poonch are taking labour works from their students.
Sources informed early times that, some students reading in said school are found working in restoration work of the school building whereas contractor has given the amount.
Locals especially parents of the students have expressed their resentment over the said unlawful act. They have taken up the matter with the concerned Deputy Commissioner.
Chief Education Officer Poonch was not available to respond into the matter. |
