Naresh Sharma takes oath for President Municipal Council Kathua

Kathua, Nov 27:- Congress turned BJP ward Councilor Naresh Sharma today took oath for President of Municipal Council Kathua along with Rekha Kumari as Vice President. Assistance Commissoner Revenue Jatindra Mishra KAS administrated the oath of office to both the councillors at municipality offie Kathua.
Earlier Naresh Sharma won on Congress mandate and along with his six supporter, he joined BJP few weeks ago. Lateron He won 16 confidence votes out of 21 in a formal election for President of the council.
After Sworn-in ceremony, Naresh Sharma appealed all ward councillors to unite irrespective of any rival issue for the development of the town which is not possible without the support of all ward members and citizens of the town.
In a Press conference, Sharma assured all round development of the town and said, " Many projects of Power/ PHE supplies, Parking, parks for beautification of the town, cleanliness, construction of Malls, anti-encroachment drives are under pipeline and will be done on priority basis." He added that people should directly approach to the councillors for any offical assignments which would be redress immedidately. He promoted BJP's slogan, " sab ka Saath- Sab Ka Vikas and assured to continue with the slogans that would be beneficial for forthcoming elections.
Without Indicating the name of a ward councillor (Rajinder Singh Bubby brother of Ch.Lal Singh), he asked, " when his brother left Congress and joined BJP that was not an issue for him but when I joined BJP, how it hurt him that moves him to Judiciary." He sought his support too for the development of the town.
Similar Sworn-in ceremony was organised for Lakhanpur Municipality wherein Sur-mu-din took oath of President whereas Rajesh Sharma took oath for Vice President.
Earlier, BJP won 3 seats and Independents succeed to hold on 4 wards. Sur-Mu-Din won unanimously.
