11/27/2018 9:39:22 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, Nov 27: Kashmiri Pandit Conference (KPC) has questioned head priest at Pushkar temple, Rajasthan for declaring Rahul Gandhi as Kashmiri Pandit with Dattatreya Koul Gottra without knowing the facts as gotra is a lineage or clan assigned to him or her is that of person's father, grandfather or great grandfather but not a mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Kundan Kashmiri, President KPC stated that head priest at Pushkar temple, Rajasthan should have the knowledge that gotra of a person is decided on the basis of patriarchy and not matriarchy.
He should have not accepted Rahul's plea that he belongs to Dattatreya gotra knowing the fact that grandfather of Rahul Gandhi was a Parsi who stands buried in a Parsi cemetery at Allahabad.
Besides Sonia Gandhi or Rahul Gandhi, who has been declared Kashmiri Pandit with Dattatreya Koul gotra by head priest of Pushkar temple, have never bother to visit to the same victim Kashmiri Pandit community during their life time in Indian politics to know their plight and have never highlighted their problems and demands in the parliament and other forums as the same community is in exile from the last thirty years and are suffering badly due to the serious blunder committed by late Jawahar Lal Nehru in 1947 about imposition of Article 370 in the state of J&K.
Kundan Kashmiri, president KPC stated that this gotra issue raised by Congress at the time of ongoing and forthcoming elections in the country is nothing but a gimmick to confused and befool the Hindus of the country for having Rahul Gandhi as high caste Brahman to mobilize Hindu voters for his political interests.
