12/19/2018 9:59:51 PM
Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 19: A deputation of Jammu Kashmir Teachers Forum (JKTF), led by Ganesh Khajuria, state general secretary, met Director School Education Jammu (DSEJ) Anuradha Gupta in her office Chamber. The Forum highlighted the burning problems being faced by the different cadres of Education department.
The deputation demanded to provide the opportunity of typing test in favour of the well qualified class IV employees of District Reasi as their seniors have not qualified the typing test despite the fact that they have been provided opportunities thrice by the CEO Reasi. The forum urged DSE Jammu to give direction to the concerned CEO to allow these qualified class IV employees to appear in the typing test for promotion to the level of Junior Assistants and to conduct DPC of Lab Assistants to teachers of District Poonch as they have been facing stagnation since 2013 as some of the Lab Assistants have been promoted as teachers in other districts.
The Forum also appealed DSEJ to streamline the process of salaries on fast track basis of Head Teachers, Teachers and Headmasters working under erstwhile SSA and RMSA schemes now called as Samagra.
The DSEJ Anuradha Gupta listened patiently all the issues and assured the deputation that every possible step will be taken to redress the genuine issues put forth by the Forum at an earliest.
Earlier, the deputation also met Tuffail Mattoo, State Project Director Samagra Shiksha and stressed upon to release the salaries fund in favour of all the teaching community.
Mattoo assured the deputation that the salary issues of all the Head Teachers, Masters, Headmasters, RReTs are at the verge of final solution and it will be released shortly.
