Healthy India Stronger India organises education awareness fare

jammu, Dec 21: Hira Lal Abrol, Chairman Healthy India Stronger India (NGO) along with members of Healthy India Stronger India organised Educational Awareness Fare at Government Girls Higher Secondary School at Qasaban Bazaar Jammu.
During the programme the team had an in-depth interaction with students of Higher Secondary School. Books, notebooks and study material were distributed by Healthy India Stronger India to nearly 400 students on the occasion
Healthy India, Stronger India is an NGO founded by its Chairman Hira Lal Abrol. This NGO is running a 'Free Training Centre' for skill development of needy and poor children from BPL families. The training centre offers 3 months, free courses in Basic Computers; Cutting and, Tailoring Classes; Beautician Course as well as Free Library for the students. Nearly 650 students have passed out, after successful completion of courses from this centre.
They have been placed in various organizations and some of them have even started their own ventures. It is heartening to see that they are earning a good livelihood for their families and are living a respectable life in society. In addition to training in skill development, HISI equips its students with moral values and life skills. The students are motivated to live a healthy life and to stay away from tobacco and drugs. HISI has the vision to uplift the place of women in the society and make them self-reliant. Girls and women trainees of the NGO have recently been trained in 'Self Defence'.
Hira Lal Abrol in his address advised the students to work hard and stay healthy for a bright future. Mou-Din Choudhary, Corporator; Showkat Choudhary; Irfan; Ismile Malik; Ballu Choudhary; Ashique Mir; S. Dalbir Singh along with Umesh Gandotra, Principal and staff members of Government Girls Higher Secondary School at Qasaban Bazaar Jammu were also present on the occasion.
