Residential house gutted in fire

Kishtwar, Dec 26: In yet another tragic fire incident ahead, a residential house was gutted at old Bazar locality of Kishtwar town falling in Ward No. 7 of Kishtwar Municipality.
As per the details available with Early Times, the fire break out in the house of Ghulam Mustafa Sheikh alias Malla and suddenly spread to other parts of the house.
As soon as the people and the adjoining shopkeepers notice the smoke, they raise the alarm as a result of which the Police, locals, fire service officials, volunteers of local NGO ABABEEL immediately rush to the spot and join the rescue operation. After one & half hour hectic efforts the fire threatening the adjoining houses connected with each other was brought under control beside the shops at the front of the house towards road side were also saved due to heroic efforts of the local youths who break inside the house despite being threat to their lives.
During the rescue operation, one person was injured after he falls from ceiling of house after tinsheets collapsed due to fire and was immediately shifted to hospital where doctors declared him stable and was allowed to go home after first aid treatment. Best him, another youth also received injury in his hand. The initial probe suggested short circuit as the mian cause of fire, but police has started a probe to ascertain the fact.
