Kishtwar, Dec 26: The controversy involving the IGNOU's B.Ed examination scandal yet to die down, the question paper of the "BES-123 : Learning and Teaching" subject schedule to be held on 31-12-2018 is in circulation on social media including Whatsapp since today morning thus putting the top brass of the IGNOU under scanner for their in action even after six days of surfacing of the scandal involving huge exchange of money.
After searching for the details on "IGNOU" website, the BES-121 & BES-123 of TEE December 2018 was earlier schedule for 8-12-2018 & 11-12-2018 respectively, but both papers were later postponed and BES-123 has been revised scheduled to be held on 31-12-2018.
The sources said that all the B.Ed papers held so far were leaked in advance which was vindicated with the circulation of question paper schedule to be held on 31-12-2018 and called for immediate cancellation of examination beside action against such examination centers. The people called upon the state government to take up the matter with IGNOU authorities at MHRD level beside also called for authorities to not accept the B.Ed degrees through correspondence courses and instead utilized the services of DIETs across the state to train the teachers for quality education. Earlier, Kishtwar police registered an FIR NO. 316 of 2018 Under Section 420 RPC & 2/5 Prevention of Unfair means Examination Act against the accused identified by the police as Musarrat Hussain (Enrolment No. 184307253) and Johar Ali (enrolment No. 184277999) who were caught in the examination hall with pre written answer sheets.
The sources informed ET that around 800 government teachers were enrolled for this year B.Ed examination at private IGNOU centers in Kishtwar District and added that majority of them were charged between Rs. 50000 to Rs. 80000 and if the amount collected by the private examination centers could be added, the figure crossed Rs. 4 crores.
