| KNIT organises function on Christmas | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 26: Students of Kotwal National Institute of Teaching (KNIT) Bharat Nagar today organised a special function on the eve of Christmas. The colourful program included skits on the life & the teachings of Jesus Christ.
Many students delivered speeches on the life and teaching of the Son of God. Students in the costumes of Santa Claus presented a chorus Jingle Bell and distributed sweets among the students & the teaching faculty.
Special messages from Director of the School Prof J L Kotwal and Principal Bimla Ballowria were read on the occasional. Administrator of the school and senior faculty members also graced the occasion with their speeches.
They greeted the students on Christmas and New Year. They impressed upon the young generation to take part in such festivals as it would help them not only in understanding the cultural diversity of the country but also help in strengthening the communal harmony. |
