Officers Association says Edu Deptt fails to fill vacant posts
1/5/2019 8:46:54 PM
Early Times Report

Jammu, Jan 5: All J&K Plus 2 Officers Association felt that the Education Department has done nothing for the human recourses as there are so many posts of Lecturers, Principals and equivalent, CEO's and equivalent and Jt Directors and equivalent lying vacant since long but the department has not filled them up till date.
As per press statement, moreover , even after Cabinet Decision and also SAC nod the department has not issued Regularization list of any cadre, rather the Department is demanding the APR's and Service Particulars time and again from the Incharge incumbents .It is also pertinent to mention here that the said particulars are already lying with the Department for vigilance clearance .
All the participants stressed upon the Department and requested Governor S P Malik in general and Advisor for School Education Department in particular to issue the necessary orders for regularization and Promotions at an earliest.
The association also stressed upon the concerned to desist from the path of making the Department a standstill as all the transfers from the teachers to the Jt directors level have been withheld in whole of the State, even the females and medical board and other genuine cases of transfers of employees have been withheld since April 2018.The pick and choose and selective policy of transfers is prevalent. All the files of transfers have been withheld and lying at the Directorate or Secretariat level .
The association discussed other important issues and stressed upon the concerned to consider and issue orders to mitigate them at an earliest.
Assured Career progression(ACP) for Plus 2 Cadre as assured earlier to remove stagnation and Pay anomalies of Lecturers and Principals as there are so many persons who get retired even after rendering 20 to 25 years of service in the same Grade and Status. It is a burning issue and should be addressed at an earliest.
The members who spoke on the occasion included Rajeev Kumar Sharma, Sanjeev Kumar Pandita, Narinder Kumar Sharma, Surinder Kumar, Kasturi Lal, Sanjeev Kumar, Kapil Banotra and others.
