Congress leader castigates BJP for betraying people

Bhaderwah, Jan 5: Accusing Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) of allegedly betraying people to save their sinking boat, former minister and senior Congress leader Mohd. Sharief Niaz said that people of the state would never forget for what PDP-BJP have done to the State and people by misleading them on the name of so called agenda of alliance.
"Both the parties have played with the emotions of people for the sake of power by playing emotional cards in the elections," Niaz said while addressing series of meeting at Bheka and Sadar Panchyats of Bhadharwah constituency here today. Panches who jioned congress are krishan kumar Dhoom raj,Suresh Kumar, Satish Kumar, Raesjmi Devi, Dimpla Devi In presents of Sarpanpach Rinku Devi.
In these meetings hundred of PDP and BP workers joined Congress. People of the area complained to him that there is rampant corruption in the offices at the behest of some local leaders, those are getting their due share from the officials.
Niaz said that there is bungling at large scale while making the payments in MGNREGA to labourers in the area. Niaz also demanded for re-survey of B P L in the whole constituency so that the needy and houseless people may get the benefit of Awas yogna.
Descri bing PDP-BJP alliance a complete failure and un-holly , Niaz said that people in all the three regions are suffering badly due to political drama staged by PDP-BJP after leaving people midway on mercy of God.
Former minister castigated the BJP for anti-poor and anti-workers' policies, saying the introduction of GST and Demonetisation had jeopardized the interests of both-the entrepreneurs and the workers.
