KAS Mains 2016 qualified candidates stage protest
1/7/2019 10:51:12 PM
Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 7: KAS Mains 2016 qualified candidates on Monday came out requesting society to understand the malafide intentions of a handful of non-qualified candidates, because of whom the career of many candidates including 2016 qualified and 2018 aspirants have been put at stake.
While addressing media in Jammu, they said that notifications of onscreen marking released by JKPSC on 07 th December, 2017 is a revolutionary step. On screen evaluation is need of the hour and is being put to use in Gujrat PSC ,Karnataka ,Rajasthan, CBSE , Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences and other universities which have a standing of more than 100 years. The mains exams were conducted from July 2018 to August 2018 and the result of which was declared in December 2018. They alleged that after the announcement of the Mains result, a false propaganda has been carried out by a handful of non-qualified candidates on baseless pretexts. They said that their claim of qualifying this exam based on previous results cannot be justified. Also, allegations made by them are not based on any evidence but mere talks which is more to malign the image of institution. They also claimed that it is due to these handful of ousted candidates that selection process which was to be completed within 1 year has entered fourth year.
