Pathseekers School hosts Grandparents' Day

Samba, Jan 7: Grandparents are a family's greatest treasure, the founders of a loving legacy, the greatest storytellers, the keepers of traditions. Grandparents are the family's strong foundation. Through their special love and care, grandparents keep a family close at heart. To honour them "The Pathseekers International School , Ramgarh" - Primary Section Celebrated the Grandparents Day . Brig.(Rtd) Suchet Singh was the Chief Guest on this Occasion . The guests of honour- the grandparents, were welcomed with attractive and colourful cards made by their grandchildren especially for them. The special day was filled with dance , games and song performances by the kids and by their Grandparents. Children recited rhymes and danced on various songs like "Dada ji ki chaadi hu mai". The songs on healthy living and exercise and 'I love you Grandpa and Grandma' was a hit amongst both the elderlies and the tiny tots. After some fun filled performances, grandparents and children played puzzles and games. Special puzzles with the photos of the child and his/her grandparents were custom made for the special day. The winner Grandparents from the Game were greeted with gifts by the Director of the School Er. Nimrandeep Singh which brought a twinkle to their old eyes. After this, the Chief Guest's address left everyone speechless, he appreciated the school for dedicating this occasion in the loving memory of Mata Gujri ji .
