Jammu, Jan 9: Ayushman Bharat-Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY) enrolment camp was setup at ward no. 50 Channi Himmat Jammu here today under leadership of BJYM State Vice President J&K Adv. Ishant Gupta accompanied by BJP Leader Balwan Singh, Rajinder Mehta and Anand Ram. While interacting with beneficiaries, Adv. Ishant Gupta said that the Scheme will provide medical facilities to families in secondary and tertiary care hospitals of the country. He further stated that the AB-PMJAY is the world's largest healthcare scheme which aims at providing portable coverage of Rs 5 lakh per entitled family annually, and a beneficiary covered under the scheme will be allowed to avail benefits from public and private empanelled hospitals across the country. Gupta further express his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for launching this noble scheme for the benefit of people, he said that Prime Minister has launched various people friendly welfare schemes and AB-PMJAY is the best among all in which every entitled beneficiary can expend up to 5 lakh annually for medical treatment. He added that all the beneficiaries covered under this scheme will have access to cashless and paperless healthcare coverage for all critical diseases. Balwan Singh thanked Corporator ward no. 50 Neena Gupta for providing assistance in setting up this camp. He said that the camp will continue to enrol more beneficiaries from 9:30 AM to 3 PM on 09/01/2019 and appeal the public to kindly visit the camp at sector 6 Channi Himmat to get enrolled for this scheme. He said that once the enrolment process completed, the golden cards will be issued to the enrolled beneficiaries in upcoming days.
