BJP holds protest against failure to arrest killers of Parihar brothers
1/9/2019 9:28:33 PM
Early Times Report

Kishtwar, Jan 9: BJP today launched another open and direct attack on Kishtwar Police and district administration for their failure to arrest the culprits involved behind the killings of BJP State Secretary Anil Parihar and his brother Ajeet Parihar.
Led by former MLA and party's State General Secretary Sunil Sharma, the BJP activists held a strong protest march from BJP office up to Police Station Kishtwa to put pressure police and NIA to expedite the probe into the killings of Parihar brothers.
Speaking on the occasion, BJP leaders accuses Kishtwar police of inaction against the culprits involved in killing of Parihar brothers adding that Kishtwar police is trying to shield the culprits as it is not supporting and cooperating with the NIA in its probe.
As reported earlier, the probe into Parihar brother was handed over to NIA within three weeks of the incident. The angry protestors raised slogans against the probing agencies including Kishtwar police calling for immediate transfer of senior police officers from district Kishtwar. They also launched a scathing attack on National Conference and PDP for opposing the installation of bunkers besides acting like mute spectators over the issue of killings of Parihar brothers.
They said that BJP always priorities the maintenance of peace and communal harmony in district Kishtwar adding that NC and PDP are trying to create communal divide within the society.
Speaking on the sidelines of the protest, BJP youth leader Ashish Sharma said that the aim and objective of today's protest is to wake up the police from deep slumber.
In a question regarding failure of NIA in its investigation, the BJP youth leader refrain himself from direct attack on NIA and blamed Kishtwar police for non-cooperation with NIA as a result of which NIA hasn't been able to do anything.
